Creative rationale

The rationale behind the Bank of Ireland FDI campaign was to successfully capture the strong sectoral capabilities and expertise that are available to FDI clients from the Bank of Ireland corporate team. 

Bank of Ireland are the number 1 corporate bank in Ireland and a gateway to Europe. Some of the world’s leading companies have chosen to work with Bank of Ireland including Apple, Google, Twitter and Hubspot so we needed to demonstrate the attractiveness of Ireland as a top Eurozone country to others with ready access to an EU market of 500m consumers. 

Campaign implementation 

To capture the sense of expertise Bank of Ireland created an engaging campaign centering on the the skills and talent available to foreign companies looking to set up in the only English-speaking country within the Eurozone. The campaign was executed across a number of channels – digital advertising, social media, print and a ground-breaking Direct Mail piece where potential clients received a VideoPak containing a video explaining why Ireland offers a gateway to Europe. The central campaign image shows an eye where the pupil is a map of Ireland which reflects the ‘Looking for the best place to set up in Europe?’ message.
